DomBazaar is hiring two roles to support local operations and clearer property listings in Turkmenistan.

The Local Operations Lead is an Ashgabat-based field role with remote administrative work. The Community & Listings Manager role is remote for now.

Both roles work Monday to Friday, 12:00-18:00. Any flexibility around that schedule is discussed at the interview and agreed in writing before work starts.

Local Operations Lead

Meet agents, onboard landlords, and build the local relationships that help DomBazaar's marketplace work.

Best for someone who communicates reliably, thinks commercially, and can represent DomBazaar clearly in person.

What you'll do

  • Onboard the first landlords and agents to the platform
  • Represent DomBazaar at in-person meetings in Ashgabat
  • Share what you hear from the market with the founding team
  • Help grow listing supply where DomBazaar is actively operating

What we're looking for

  • Based in Ashgabat, with reliable physical presence
  • Reliable communication and confidence representing DomBazaar in person
  • Fluent in Turkmen and Russian
  • Comfortable with digital tools, smartphone workflows, and basic web browsing
  • Property background helpful but not required

Role details

  • Ashgabat-based field role with remote administrative work
  • Expected working hours are 12:00-18:00. Any flexibility around that schedule is discussed at the interview and agreed in writing before work starts.
  • Monday to Friday. Saturday and Sunday are days off
  • Employment or contractor terms are discussed at the interview and agreed in writing before any work starts.
  • Pay is discussed at the interview and agreed in writing before any work starts.
  • You work directly with the founder
  • Start date agreed at offer
  • We reply within a week. One or two short calls, then a decision.
  • Applications are read by the founder and deleted if we don't proceed

Community & Listings Manager

The person who helps DomBazaar's first users publish clearer listings and feel supported through the process.

Best for someone fluent in Turkmen and Russian who can communicate patiently across messaging, listings, and community channels.

What you'll do

  • Message landlords and agents to invite them to list
  • Help new users post their first listing step by step
  • Review incoming listings for clarity and completeness
  • Localise English copy into Turkmen and Russian when needed

What we're looking for

  • Fluent in Turkmen and Russian, written and spoken
  • Comfortable with messaging apps, social channels, and basic web tools
  • Patient, clear communicator for users who may not be tech-savvy
  • Turkmen diaspora background welcome

  • Remote for now
