DomBazaar is a listing platform. We do not verify property ownership, identity, or listing accuracy. We do not handle payments, deposits, or contracts. We do not arrange or supervise viewings.
Documents and messages are not proof by themselves
No document, receipt, account detail or message proves by itself that a person, property or transaction is legitimate.
Before you go to the property
Confirm these things in writing before you travel.
- Confirm the exact address and building number — not just the neighbourhood.
- Agree the date and time in writing.
- Ask who you will meet and how to identify them.
- Ask whether the property is occupied or vacant for the viewing.
- Confirm that the price and terms shown in the listing are still current.
- If you choose to reveal the number, save it from the accepted listing page or Messages before you leave.
Visit confirmation message
Send this before your viewing.
No time, no address, no confirmation.
Confirms time, address, and price in one message.
Before you pay anything
Do not transfer money before checking the basics.
- Visit the property in person.
- Ask what document or written authorization the contact can show for their role, then check it independently where possible.
- Request a written agreement or receipt for your records, but do not treat either as proof that the transaction is safe.
- Confirm the total amount, including deposit, agency fee, or advance.
- Confirm account details in writing, and remember matching account details do not prove legitimacy.
- Do not transfer money to an unexpected third-party account.
- Keep all payment records and written agreements.
Payment confirmation message
Before transferring any amount, confirm the details in writing.
No amount, no recipient confirmation, no paper trail.
Creates a written record of amount, purpose, and recipient. It does not prove the transaction is legitimate.
Your legal protection
DomBazaar does not provide legal advice and is not a party to any agreement. For high-value transactions, consider independent legal advice before signing or paying.
