Privacy Policy

DomBazaar is a property marketplace for Turkmenistan. References to “DomBazaar,” “we,” “us,” and “our” mean the DomBazaar team operating the website at dombazaar.com.

If you have privacy questions or want to request access, correction, or deletion of your data, contact us at privacy@dombazaar.com.

We collect information needed to provide the marketplace and keep it safe:

• Account details such as email address, first name, account role, preferred language, and preferred market.
• Authentication data, including Firebase user identifiers and secure session cookies.
• Google sign-in data, when you choose Google authentication, such as your Google account email and basic account identifier provided through Firebase Authentication.
• Listing data provided by landlords, including property descriptions, price, photos, location text, area selection, map coordinates, availability, and contact details such as IMO phone number where required.
• Marketplace activity, including saved listings, viewing requests, inquiry status, and messages sent inside DomBazaar.
• Technical and security data such as device/browser information, IP-derived request metadata, logs, rate-limit records, and abuse-prevention signals.

We use personal information to:

• create and secure user accounts;
• show property listings, listing maps, saved listings, and dashboard information;
• send viewing requests and enable message conversations between renters, buyers, and landlords;
• send transactional emails such as sign-in links and inquiry notifications;
• review listing quality, prevent spam, investigate abuse, and enforce platform rules;
• maintain, debug, secure, and improve DomBazaar’s user-facing features;
• respond to lawful requests, disputes, safety issues, or legal obligations.

DomBazaar uses Google/Firebase authentication so users can sign in securely. We do not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or other Google Workspace content for the marketplace experience.

Information received from Google APIs is used only to provide and improve DomBazaar’s visible, user-facing authentication and account features. We do not sell Google user data, use it for targeted advertising, transfer it to data brokers, use it to determine creditworthiness, or use it to train generalized artificial intelligence models.

We do not sell personal information. We share information only where needed to operate DomBazaar, comply with law, protect users, or provide the service requested by the user.

Our service providers may process data for us, including:

• Google Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database, server operations, and security;
• Vercel for hosting, deployment, analytics, and performance insights;
• Cloudinary for image uploads, storage, delivery, and optimization;
• Resend for transactional email delivery;
• MapTiler/OpenStreetMap-powered map tiles for listing map display, when map features are loaded.

We may also disclose information if necessary to investigate abuse, protect rights and safety, respond to legal process, or complete a merger, acquisition, or similar business transfer.

Messages and listing data are part of the DomBazaar service. Access is limited to what is needed for product operation, user support, security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, and marketplace quality review. Future staff tooling must preserve this limited-access posture and log sensitive administrative actions.

A “Quality checked” listing badge means DomBazaar has performed a basic quality review. It does not mean we have verified property ownership, identity documents, legal title, building condition, or payment safety.

We use secure cookies and browser storage to keep users signed in, route users after authentication, store language preferences, and support core site behavior. We may use analytics and performance tools to understand reliability and improve the product.

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide DomBazaar, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and prevent abuse. Some operational records may be retained after an account or listing is removed if needed for safety, audit, legal, or fraud-prevention reasons.

You can request deletion of your account or personal information by emailing privacy@dombazaar.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on the request.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including HTTPS, secure session cookies, access controls, server-side authorization checks, provider security controls, and monitoring. No internet service can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but we work to protect user data against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.

DomBazaar is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13 without appropriate permission, we will take steps to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy as DomBazaar changes. If we materially change how we use Google user data or other personal information, we will update this page and provide additional notice where required.
