Accepting has one specific contact effect
Accepting lets the requester reveal your saved mobile number in Messages. It does not reserve the property, confirm a viewing time or verify either person.
Respond from your dashboard
Use the request and conversation together before deciding.
Open Viewing requests
Go to Dashboard, then Viewing requests. Pending cards show that the request needs a response.
Open the conversation
Choose Open conversation to read the first message and check which listing the person asked to view.
Choose Accept or Decline
Accept when the property is still available and you are willing to coordinate. Decline when the property is taken or the timing does not work.
Continue in Messages after acceptance
Return to Open conversation and confirm availability, one clear viewing time and a simple meeting point. Suggested replies are available in the thread.
Ask for confirmation before anyone travels
If plans change, message in the conversation. Ask the requester to confirm before leaving for the property.
A useful accepted-request reply
Cover the essentials without moving important details out of the conversation.
- Confirm that the property is still available.
- Suggest one specific day and time.
- Give a clear entrance or landmark as the meeting point.
- Ask for the preferred viewing time and how many people will attend if you do not know yet.
- Ask the requester to confirm before leaving and to message if plans change.
Reply with a clear next step
A concrete reply is easier to act on than a vague acceptance.
No availability, time or meeting point is confirmed.
Confirms the essential details and gives the requester one question to answer.
Accept and decline
Accepting does
- Set the viewing request status to Accepted.
- Let the requester reveal your saved mobile number.
- Keep the conversation available for agreed details.
Accepting does not
- Reserve the property or create a contract.
- Verify the requester or guarantee that they will attend.
- Set a date, time or meeting point for you.
