How to update, pause or close a DomBazaar listing

Use the exact My listings actions to correct details, pause search visibility, or mark a completed rental or sale.

Start in My listings

Open Dashboard, then My listings. Each listing card shows its current status and a More actions menu for lifecycle changes.

Choose the action that matches reality

Update, pause and close have different effects.

Update the details

Choose Edit listing, change the relevant Details, Description, Photos or Pricing, review the preview, then choose Save changes.

Pause temporarily

Open More actions and choose Pause listing. The status becomes Paused from search, the listing leaves public search and no new viewing requests can be sent.

Close a completed rental

For an available rental, open More actions and choose Mark rented. The status becomes Rented and no new viewing requests are possible.

Close a completed sale

For an available sale, open More actions and choose Mark sold. The status becomes Sold and no new viewing requests are possible.

Bring a listing back

The action depends on how the listing was taken out of search.

Paused from search

Open More actions and choose Show in search when you are ready to receive viewing requests again.

Rented or Sold

Open More actions and choose Mark available only if the same property genuinely returns to the market.

Check the details before reopening

Use Edit listing first if the price, photos, description, availability or other facts changed while the listing was out of search.

What to review when details change

Keep the public listing consistent before you save or reopen it.

  • Price and whether the listing is For rent or For sale.
  • Availability and current property condition.
  • Title, description and included amenities.
  • Photos that no longer match the property.
  • Area, landmark and public map position.

Delete is not the pause or close action

Use Pause listing for a temporary break and Mark rented or Mark sold for a completed outcome. Delete is a separate removal action and should not be used just to take a listing out of search.

Pause versus close

Pause listing

  • Sets the status to Paused from search.
  • Stops new viewing requests while the listing is paused.
  • Uses Show in search to return.

Mark rented or sold

  • Records that the rental or sale is complete.
  • Sets the status to Rented or Sold.
  • Uses Mark available if the property returns to market.
