What to photograph

Cover the spaces that help people understand the property. Useful coverage matters more than repeated angles.

Main living room

Shoot from a corner so the full room, windows, and natural light are visible.

Bedroom

Show the bed area, wardrobe space, and window. Include all bedrooms when possible.

Kitchen

Show worktop, appliances, storage, and general condition.

Bathroom

Show toilet, basin, shower or bath, and overall condition.

Entrance and exterior

The entrance helps people recognize the property when they arrive.

Balcony, garden, or parking

Outdoor space helps people understand the property. Include it even if it is small.

See the difference

Same listing, two different photo strategies.

Weak photo set
Repeated photos of the same room. No kitchen, bathroom, entrance, or outdoor space.

This creates more questions than confidence.

Strong photo set
Living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, entrance, balcony or parking, and one honest condition detail.

This lets people compare quickly before contacting you.

Make photos match reality

Use recent and realistic photographs of the actual condition. If the walls need painting or the bathroom is dated, show it honestly.

What to avoid

These issues make the listing harder to understand.

  • Blurry photos or screenshots.
  • Heavy filters or unrealistic editing.
  • Repeated photos of the same room presented as additional coverage.
  • Only exterior photos with no interior.
  • Photos that do not match the description.
  • Identity documents, receipts, account details, or personal papers visible in photos.
  • Contact details or watermarks pasted over the image.

What Quality checked reviewers look for

Reviewers look for useful coverage of the main spaces, realistic condition, and whether photos match the property description. A furnished listing should show the furniture.

Summary

Strong photos do

  • Show the main spaces clearly.
  • Help people understand condition before contact.
  • Support a smoother Quality checked review.

Strong photos do not

  • Guarantee that the listing will be approved.
  • Replace accurate price, location, and written details.
  • Hide defects that visitors will see in person.
